WBJEE Online Exam Pattern

The WBJEE exam pattern is divided into two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for admission to courses in engineering and technology, while Paper 2 is for admission to courses in pharmacy.

Paper 1 consists of three sections – Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The paper has a total of 100 questions, with 40 questions in Mathematics, 30 questions in Physics, and 30 questions in Chemistry. The duration of the paper is 2 hours.

Paper 2 consists of two sections – Physics and Chemistry. The paper has a total of 70 questions, with 30 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry. The duration of the paper is 1 hour 30 minutes.

Both papers have multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and objective type questions. Each correct answer carries 4 marks, while each wrong answer carries a penalty of -1 mark. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.

WBJEE Selection Process
