UPES MET Online Exam Pattern
The exam pattern for the NEST 2020 Exam for M.Sc. (Bioinformatics) will be as follows:
• The exam will be conducted online through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
• There will be 150 multiple-choice questions to be answered within 2 hours duration.
• The exam will be divided into two sections- Section A and Section B.
• Section A will comprise of 100 questions and Section B will comprise of 50 questions.
• Section A will include questions from the core subject of Bioinformatics
• Section B will include questions from other related topics like Computer Science, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry.
• There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
• The total marks for the exam will be 150.
UPES MET Selection Process
The selection process for the LPUES MET exam is conducted in two stages.
1. Online Test: The first stage of the selection process involves taking the online MET Test, which is a computer-based test. This test is conducted in the following sections: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
2. Personal Interview: After clearing the online test, candidates have to appear for the Personal Interview. This interview is conducted by the university’s Admissions Department.

UPES MET Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for the LUMS-Eligible Employees (LUMS-EE) program, an employee must meet the following criteria:

9. The employee must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
