UP Board CLASS X Online Exam Pattern

The Online Examination for UP Board Class X will be conducted over 3 stages:

1. Pre-Test: A Pre-Test will be administered to candidates which will be a single objective-type MCQ based test consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). It will be of 45 Minutes duration and will cover all the topics of the Class X syllabus.

2. Main Exam: The Main Exam will consist of three sections, namely Theory, Practical and Viva. The duration of the Main Exam will be of 3 Hours 30 minutes.

3. Practical Exam: The Practical Exam will be a practical test of 2 Hour duration.

4. Viva Voce: The Viva Voce exam will includes a project-based or descriptive type question related to the syllabus of the respective subject.

It will be a 30 Minutes Examination. At the end of the Online Examination, the student will be given the results. Based on these results, the students will be assigned a percentile and a merit mark. The merits marks will be a score out of 100. The students with the highest marks will be ranked as the top performers.

UP Board CLASS X Selection Process

The selection process for admission into class 10 of Uttar Pradesh Board (UP Board) depends on the school you intend to apply for. Generally, most schools require students to pass an entrance test, followed by an interview or a personal discussion. Some schools may also conduct an academic evaluation of prospective students based on their performance in class 9. The application process for UP Board class 10 usually starts in the month of April.
