The selection process for the UGC NET Geography exam involves a two-step process:

The eligibility criteria for UGC NET Geography are as follows:

2. Candidates who have appeared for the final year exam of their Master’s degree and are awaiting their results can also apply for UGC NET Geography.

3. There is no age limit for UGC NET Geography.

4. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD (Persons with Disabilities) category will get a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate.

5. Candidates who have successfully completed their Master’s degree or equivalent qualification from Open Universities are not eligible to apply for UGC NET Geography.

6. Candidates who have cleared their M.Phil or Ph.D degree are also eligible to apply for UGC NET Geography.
