TS EAMCET – Agricultural and Medical Online Test Series

TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is an online test series conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the state of Telangana. It is conducted for engineering, agriculture and medical courses. The exam is conducted every year in the months of May and June.

TS EAMCET – Agricultural and Medical Online Exam Pattern

The EAMCET – Agricultural and Medical exam pattern consists of two sections:

1. The Common Entrance Test (CET) This section consists of 160 multiple choice questions (MCQs) which are divided into four sections as follows:

• Physics – 40 questions

• Chemistry – 40 questions

• Botany – 40 questions

• Zoology – 40 questions The duration of the CET is three hours and each question carries one mark.

There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

2. The Agriculture and Medical Entrance Test (AMET) This section consists of 80 multiple choice questions (MCQs) which are divided into two sections as follows:

• Agriculture – 40 questions

• Medical – 40 questions

The duration of the AMET is two hours and each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

TS EAMCET – Agricultural and Medical Selection Process

EAMCET stands for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. It is a state level entrance exam held for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, agriculture and medical streams in universities, colleges and institutes in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The selection process for EAMCET involves the following steps:

1. Application: Candidates must submit the EAMCET application form online along with the required application fee.

2. Admit Card: After submitting the online application form, the candidates must download their EAMCET Admit Card.

3. Entrance Exam: Candidates must appear for the entrance exam and attempt it in the allocated time limit.

4. Result Declaration: The result of the EAMCET exam will be declared by the exam conducting authority.

5. Counselling: After the declaration of the result, the shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling. During the counselling process, the candidates must provide their choice of college and course. The allotted seat will be decided on the basis of the candidate’s rank and preference.

6. Seat Allotment: After the counselling process, the seat allotment will be done on the basis of the candidate’s rank and choice of college and course.

7. Document Verification: After the seat allotment, the candidates must report to the allotted college and get their documents verified by the college authorities.

8. Admission: After the successful verification of documents, the candidates will be granted admission to the college.

TS EAMCET – Agricultural and Medical Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission into the various courses offered through the Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is as follows:

• Candidates applying for EAMCET must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Biology as optional subjects.

• A minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the optional subjects is required.

• The minimum age limit for appearing in the EAMCET is 17 years.

• Students who want to apply for MBBS and BDS courses must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the optional subjects is required.

• Students who want to apply for engineering and pharmacy courses must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as optional subjects and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the optional subjects is required.

• For admission into B.Sc. (Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Home Science/Community Science/Sericulture/Agricultural Engineering/Fisheries/Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry/Dairy Technology/Food Science & Technology/Agribusiness Management) courses, a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the optional subjects is required.

• The candidate must have studied in the state for the last 10 years for admission into any course through EAMCET.
