Telangana High Court Civil Judge Eligibility Criteria

The eligible candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for Telangana High Court Civil Judge:

Age Limit:

• Candidate’s age must not exceed 35 years and must not be less than 21 years.

• The relaxation in upper age limit is provided to reserved category candidates as per the rules.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidate must possess a degree in Law from a recognized University and must be an advocate enrolled under the provisions of the Advocates Act, 1961.

• Candidate must have minimum of 7 years of practice as an advocate in any court of Civil and Criminal Jurisdiction.

• Candidate must have knowledge of reading, writing and speaking Telugu language.

• The candidate must also fulfill local/non-local status requirements as specified in the Telangana State.

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
