SSC Junior Engineer Mechanical Selection Process

The selection process for the SSC Junior Engineer (Mechanical) post consists of two stages:

1. Written Exam: The written exam consists of two papers: Paper I (Objective type) and Paper II (Conventional/Descriptive type). Minimum Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed a three years diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ or any other equivalent discipline from a recognized institute/university.

Age Limit: The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have crossed the age of 27 years as on the 01st August 2020. Relaxation of age is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ Ex-servicemen/ Women/ Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates as per the Government of India rules.
