SOF – NSO Class V – X Online Test Series

SOF-NSO class V-X online test series is an advanced online test series for students of classes V to X, provided by SOF or Science Olympiad Foundation. The test series includes a total of 40 Online Tests – 10 for each class, divided into 3 Levels – Level – 1, Level – 2 and Level – 3. It provides students with an opportunity to evaluate their performance and prepare for the National Standard Examinations like NSO, IMO, IEO, and NCO.

The online tests are designed to help students understand the concepts of Mathematics, Science, and Mental Ability—the three important subjects for the NSO Examinations. The tests cover important topics in Maths & Science- Number System, Mensuration, Geometry, Vectors & Three Dimension, Force and Motion, Magnetism & Electricity, Motion Mathematics, Algebra, etc.

This course also includes the application of Rules of Reasoning, Analytical & Lateral Thinking, Visual Reasoning, etc., for the Mental Ability section. SOF – NSO Class V – X Online Exam Pattern

The online exam for NSO Class V is of three-hour duration and there are a total of seventy questions for the exam. The question paper consists of two sections- Mental Ability and Science.

Mental Ability This section has fifteen multiple-choice questions that assess the student’s analytical and logical skills, reasoning, quantitative thinking, problem solving and creative thinking.

Science This section contains fifty-five questions that cover Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and Geography. The questions assess the student’s knowledge of their Science subject and ability to apply it. Questions are of multiple-choice and short answer type.

SOF – NSO Class V – X Eligibility Criteria

NSO Class V-X Eligibility Criteria:

• A minimum score of 55% in Class V in Mathematics, Science, and English.

• A minimum score of 50% in Class VIII in Mathematics, Science, and English.

• A minimum score of 40% in Class X in Mathematics, Science, and English.

• The student must be between the ages of 14 and 17.

• An Indian National.

• Maximum of 2 attempts will be allowed.

• No backlogs will be allowed.

• Candidates from rural areas will get preference.
