The selection process for the RTET Level – 2 Social Studies exam consists of the following steps:

The eligibility criteria for RTET Level-2 (Social Studies) are as follows:
• Candidates must have passed Class 8th/10th/12th/Graduation/Post-Graduation from a recognized board or university.
• Candidates should have minimum one year of teaching experience in Social Studies.
• Candidates must have obtained 45% marks in Class 10th/12th/Graduation/Post-Graduation and above.
• Knowledge of Hindi and English is mandatory.
• Candidates must possess a valid Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Certificate or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) Certificate or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Certificate.
