Candidates should prepare for topics such as English Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Synonyms, Antonyms, Spellings, Sentence Completion, etc. for English Language section. For the General Awareness section, candidates should prepare topics such as Indian History, Geography, Culture, Economy, Politics, Current Affairs, General Science, etc.

RRB Junior Translator Selection Process

The selection process for the RRB Junior Translator post involves three stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): This is the first stage of selection. It is a multiple-choice objective type of test. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. The questions cover topics such as General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Arithmetic, and English.

2. Skill Test: Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be eligible for the Skill Test. The skill test is a qualifying test. It is a computer-based test and consists of a translation exercise. The duration of the test is 25 minutes.

3. Document Verification: Finally, candidates who qualify in the Skill Test will be called for document verification. The documents required for verification are:

• Matriculation certificate

• Degree/Diploma certificate

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Relevant experience certificate

• Any other document specified by the RRB.

RRB Junior Translator Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the post of Junior Translator (Railway Recruitment Board) are as follows:

1. Age: The minimum age limit for this post is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 30 years.

2. Education: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any one of the following subjects: Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, or any other modern Indian language.

3. Certificates: The candidates must have a valid certification in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa.

4. Computer Knowledge: The candidates must have a basic knowledge of computers and be familiar with MS Office.

5. Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
