Phase I: Preliminary Exam The RBI Grade B (DEPR) Preliminary Exam consists of the following sections:

4. Test of Reasoning Each of the sections will have a total of 100 marks with a total time duration of 2 hours.

Phase II: Main Exam The RBI Grade B (DEPR) Main Exam consists of the following sections:

5. Descriptive Test Each of the sections will have a total of 100 marks with a total time duration of 3 hours.

The Descriptive Test will have a total of 50 marks with a total time duration of 1 hour.

RBI Grade B (DEPR) Selection Process

The selection process for the RBI Grade B (DEPR) exam is a two-stage process.

Stage 1: The first stage of the selection process consists of an online objective-type exam. The exam consists of four sections: English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Economics & Social Issues. Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks in each section to be eligible for the next round.

Stage 2: The second stage of the selection process consists of a descriptive exam and an interview. The descriptive exam consists of questions related to Economics & Social Issues, whereas the interview is conducted to evaluate the candidate’s knowledge of the subject and their overall communication skills. Candidates who clear both the stages successfully will be selected for the RBI Grade B (DEPR) post.

RBI Grade B (DEPR) Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: –Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Commerce/ Management/ International Trade/ International Business/ Business Administration/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications/ Finance/ Accounting/ Law/ Agriculture & Allied Sciences with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade.

Age: –Candidates must not be below 21 years and above 30 years of age as on 1st June 2021. Candidates born before 2nd June 1991 and after 1st June 2000 are not eligible to apply. Selection Process: -The selection process for RBI Grade B (DEPR) comprises of three stages – Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview.
