NICL AO Online Exam Pattern

The NICL AO Online Exam Pattern is as follows:

1. Preliminary Exam

• The Preliminary Exam is an objective type test.

• The sections in the exam are English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.

• Each section will have 25 questions for a total of 100 questions.

• The total marks for the exam are 100 and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

2. Main Exam

• The main exam is an objective type test.

• The exam will consist of 200 questions to be answered in 120 minutes.

• The sections in the exam are English Language, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, General Awareness, Insurance & Financial Market Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude.

• Each section will have 40 questions for a total of 200 questions.

• The total marks for the exam are 200 and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

NICL AO Selection Process

The National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) Administrative Officer (AO) selection process includes the following stages:

1. Preliminary Exam: The Preliminary Exam will consist of objective type questions from Reasoning Ability, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness.

2. Mains Exam: The Mains Exam will consist of objective type questions from Reasoning Ability, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge and Insurance and Financial Market Awareness.

3. Interview: Candidates who qualify in the Mains Exam will be called for an interview.

4. Final Selection: Final selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the Mains Exam and the performance in the interview.

NICL AO Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for NICL AO exam are as follows:

(i) Age: Minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age should be 30 years as on 1st January of the year of examination.

(ii) Nationality: The candidate should be a citizen of India.

(iii) Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

(iv) Experience: The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Financial Institution.
