How to Prepare ISC – XII (Science) Mock Online Exam
1. Select a module or set of topics to be tested: Start by identifying which topics you want to test in your mock online exam. Depending on the level of the exam, consider whether you’ll need just sections from the ISC syllabus, or complete chapters. Finalize the topics or a module you will be testing carefully, noting the amount of time you’ll need for each section.
2. Create a sample test: Now, create the actual questions and their answers. Take care to ensure that the questions are interesting yet challenging and relevant to the topics you’ve selected. You may also create multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blanks, or true/false type questions.
3. Design a test layout: Prepare a model test that closely resembles the actual online exam. This includes preparing the test based on the topics selected, with appropriate questions, a timer to time test duration, instructions for the candidates, and in some cases, give away instruction on how to attempt the sections or give tips and tricks to answer correctly.
4. Set up the exam platform: Choose your preferred exam platform and set it up to create and upload your exam. Configure the settings such as time allotted, points awarded, and number of attempts so that they correspond with the actual ISC exam.
5. Publish the exam and set dates: Publish the exam on the platform and set the date for the mock exam. Allow students to register and offer a practice session for familiarizing yourself with the platform.
6. Generate results: Generate and publish the results, with a detailed analysis and feedback for the students. Analyze the results to identify areas in need of improvement and discuss the topics bringing about the lower average score.
