The ICSE board has decided that for the academic year 2020-2021, the Class 9 Online Exams will be conducted as follows:

2. For each subject, students are required to answer 50 objective-type multiple choice questions and 5 long answer type questions.

3. The total marks of each subject will be 100 and the Duration of the Exam will be 1 hour 30 minutes.

4. Exams will be conducted using Secure Online Examination Software.

5. All topics of the subject will be included in the syllabus.

6. The maximum time given to answer a question will be one minute.

7. Negative marking will be applicable for incorrect answers.

8. Instant Results will be provided after the completion of the exam.

ICSE – Class IX Selection Process

1. Entrance exam: Candidates applying for admission to ICSE class IX are required to appear for the ICSE Entrance Examination. The exam paper consists of objective type questions based on Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Language.

2. Interviews: Shortlisted students will be called for an interview with the head of the school and other senior members of the school. This is an important part of the selection process and will assess the student’s academic potential.

•Good grades in their Class VIII final exam
