IBPS Agriculture field Officer (AFO) Selection Process
The selection process for the post of Agriculture Field Officer (AFO) in IBPS consists of the following three stages:
1. Preliminary Examination: This is an online objective test consisting of 100 questions from four sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Professional Knowledge. Candidates who clear the cut-off marks will be eligible to appear for the main examination.
2. Main Examination: This is an online objective test consisting of 200 questions from five sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness and Professional Knowledge. Candidates who clear the cut-off marks will be eligible to appear for the Interview.
3. Interview: The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the interview. The interview will be conducted by a panel of experts. • You must be a citizen of India. • You must be between 21-30 years of age.
• You must have a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Fishery Science, Pisciculture, Agri Engineering, or Co-operation & Banking from a recognized university.
• You must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying degree.
