HSSC Junior Draftsman Selection Process

The selection process for the post of HSSC Junior Draftsman consists of the following stages:

1. Written Exam: The written exam is the first stage of the selection process. The written exam will consist of questions from General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, English and Hindi.

2. Skill Test: Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for a skill test. The skill test will evaluate the candidates’ drafting skills.

3. Interview: The final stage of the selection process is the interview. Candidates who qualify the skill test will be called for the interview. The interview will evaluate the candidates’ knowledge, communication skills and personality.

HSSC Junior Draftsman Eligibility Criteria

The minimum educational qualification required for the post of HSSC Junior Draftsman is 10+2 or its equivalent from any recognized board/institute. Candidates must possess a diploma/certificate in Draftsman (Civil/Mechanical) from an institute recognized by the Govt. of Haryana/Chandigarh or All India Council for Technical Education.

The age limit for the post of HSSC Junior Draftsman is 17 to 42 years as on the date of notification. The upper age limit is relaxable as per government rules. Candidates must have proficiency in operation of computers (Word Processing and Spread Sheets). The selection process for the post of HSSC Junior Draftsman involves written examination and document verification.
