Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Spardha (HBBVS) is an entrance exam conducted by the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. It is designed to assess and identify skilled and promising students for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. – Applicants must be an Indian citizen residing in India to apply for the HBBVS exam.

– For UG Applicants, general category applicants should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.

– Students should have completed 17 years of age by December 31st of the year of the exam.

– For PG applicants, general category applicants should have passed a Bachelor’s degree (B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc. or B.S.) in Science, Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.

– Applicants with a valid GATE score can also apply and are exempted from appearing for the online exam.

– OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) , SC/ST, Kashmiri Migrants, Differently Abled, Transgender applicants are applicable to relaxations in the eligibility criteria.
