The ESIC Social Security Officer (SSO) Online Exam Pattern comprises of two stages:

ESIC Social Security Officer (SSO) Selection Process
The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Social Security Officer (SSO) selection process consists of three stages.
1. Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination will comprise of an Objective-Type Multiple Choice Test of 100 questions carrying 100 marks. The questions will be based on General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Knowledge of English Language.
2. Main Examination: The Main Examination will comprise of Objective-Type Multiple Choice Test and Descriptive Type Test. The Objective-Type Multiple Choice Test will have 200 questions carrying 200 marks. The Descriptive Type Test will have 2 questions carrying 50 marks. The questions will be based on General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Knowledge of English Language and Professional Knowledge.
3. Computer Skill Test and Descriptive Test: The Computer Skill Test and Descriptive Test will be of 50 marks. The Computer Skill Test will consist of practical questions on MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, etc.) The Descriptive Test will consist of two questions on General English.
Finally, the marks obtained by the candidates in the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Computer Skill Test and Descriptive Test will be combined and the candidates will be ranked in the order of merit and shortlisted for appointment.
ESIC Social Security Officer (SSO) Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the post of Social Security Officer at Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) are as follows:
• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
