DSSSB TGT MATHEMATICS Selection Process

The selection process of TGT Mathematics in DSSSB (Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board) consists of two stages.

Stage 1: Tier-I Exam The Tier-I Exam consists of an objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) exam. There will be a total of 200 questions from General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi Language & Comprehension, and English Language & Comprehension. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

Stage 2: Tier-II Exam The Tier-II Exam consists of two papers: Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is the subject-specific paper and Paper-II is the General Studies paper. Paper-I will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Mathematics. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. Paper-II will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from General Studies. Each correct answer will be awarded 2 marks and there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer.

Stage 3: Document Verification Candidates who qualify both Tier-I and Tier-II Exams will be called for document verification. In this process, the original documents of the candidate will be verified and after successful verification, candidates will be finally selected for the post of TGT Mathematics in DSSSB.

DSSSB TGT MATHEMATICS Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for the DSSSB TGT Mathematics Exam is as follows:

1. Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (Class 12th) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

2. Age Limit: The minimum age limit for applying for this exam is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years. Those belonging to the reserved category will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the Government norms.

3. Work Experience: Work experience in the relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
