DSSSB PGT (PART – A) Online Test Series is an online platform which helps aspiring candidates in their preparation for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Exam conducted by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB). The DSSSB PGT (Part-A) Online Exam consists of two parts:
Part I: Objective Type Test The objective type test will comprise of 200 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks. The duration of the test will be 2 hours.
Part II: Descriptive Type Test The Descriptive Type Test will consist of 1 essay type question for 20 marks, 1 comprehension for 20 marks and 1 letter writing for 10 marks. The duration of the test will be 1 hour.
DSSSB PGT (PART – A) Selection Process
The selection process for DSSSB PGT (Part-A) recruitment involves the following steps:
1. Online Application: The interested candidates should submit their applications online in the prescribed format.
2. Written Exam: The candidates who have successfully filled the application form will be shortlisted and called for the written exam. The exam will consist of two papers, Paper I (Objective Type) and Paper II (Descriptive Type).
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The candidates who have cleared the written exam will be called for PET.
4. Personal Interview: The candidates who have cleared the PET will be called for the Personal Interview.
5. Final Selection: The selection of the candidates will be based on the candidate’s performance in the written exam, PET, and personal interview.
The candidates who have cleared all the stages of the selection process will be finally selected.
DSSSB PGT (PART – A) Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for DSSSB PGT (Part-A) is as follows:
1. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
2. For the Post Graduate Teacher post, candidates must have done their Post-Graduation in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
3. Candidates must have qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
4. Candidates must have good knowledge and command over the Hindi Language.
5. Candidates must have a valid registration with the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB).
