DDA Stenographer Grade D Online Test Series

DDA Stenographer Grade D Online Exam Pattern

The DDA Stenographer Grade D Online Exam is conducted in three stages:

Stage-1: The first stage of the exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT). This exam is of two hours duration, with a total of 100 questions of 200 marks. The questions are divided into four sections:

General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 questions, 100 marks),

General Awareness (50 questions, 100 marks),

English Language & Comprehension (50 questions, 100 marks)

Numerical Aptitude (50 questions, 100 marks).

Stage-2: The second stage of the exam is the Skill Test. This test is of qualifying nature and consists of two parts:

Part-A: This part is a Stenography Test, in which the candidate has to type a text in English at a speed of 80 words per minute.

Part-B: This part is a Computer Proficiency Test, in which the candidate has to demonstrate the ability to operate a computer.

Stage-3: The third stage is the Document Verification and Interview. The candidate has to bring all the original documents to the interview venue for verification. The candidate will also be asked questions related to the post applied for. The interview is of qualifying nature and carries 40 marks. Note: The final selection of the candidate will be based on the total marks obtained in the three stages of the exam.

DDA Stenographer Grade D Selection Process

The selection process for the post of Stenographer Grade D in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is as follows:

1. Online Written Exam: The written exam is conducted by the DDA to assess the knowledge and skills of the applicants in English Language, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Numerical Aptitude and General Awareness.

2. Skill Test: The applicants who qualify the written exam are then called for the skill test which is conducted to assess the typing speed of the candidates in both English and Hindi.

3. Document Verification: The candidates who qualify the skill test are then called for the document verification process. The documents submitted by the applicants are verified by the DDA.

4. Final Selection: The final selection is based on the performance of the candidates in the written exam and the skill test. The final selection list is prepared by the DDA and the selected candidates are informed accordingly.

DDA Stenographer Grade D Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for DDA Stenographer Grade D post are as follows:

1. Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Class 12th (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

2. Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 27 years of age as on the closing date of the application process.

3. Nationality: Candidates should be a citizen of India.

4. Other Eligibility: Candidates should have a speed of 80 words per minute in English shorthand and 40 words per minute in English typing.
