Central Bank of India PO Online Exam Pattern

The Central Bank of India PO Online Exam Pattern consists of two parts:

Part 1: Objective Exam The objective exam is an online exam consisting of multiple-choice questions. The exam will have a total of 200 questions, divided into 4 sections. Each section will have a different number of questions and different time limits. The sections and the number of questions are as follows:

1. Reasoning: 50 Questions, 40 minutes

2. Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions, 40 minutes

3. English Language: 40 Questions, 30 minutes 4. General Awareness: 60 Questions, 30 minutes

Part 2: Descriptive Exam The Descriptive Exam will be an online test consisting of an essay, a letter, and a precis. The total time for the exam is 30 minutes and the maximum marks are 50.

Central Bank of India PO Selection Process

The selection process for the post of Probationary Officer at Central Bank of India is as follows:

1. Online Preliminary Examination: The online preliminary examination is conducted to shortlist candidates for the main examination. The examination is conducted for a duration of 1 hour and consists of 100 multiple choice questions.

2. Online Main Examination: The online main examination is conducted for a duration of 2 hours and consists of 200 multiple choice questions.

3. Group Discussion & Interview: Once the candidates have cleared both the online examinations, they are called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.

The performance of the candidates in these rounds is evaluated and the final selection is made based on the marks secured in the examinations and the performance in the GD & PI.

Central Bank of India PO Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Minimum: 21 Years Maximum: 30 Years Age Relaxation: Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe – 5 Years Other Backward Classes – 3 Years Persons With Disabilities – 10 Years Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen – Actual period of service rendered in Defense + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST)

Educational Qualifications: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet/ Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
