CBSE Class IX Online Test Series is a comprehensive package of online tests and assessments to prepare students of class IX for their upcoming CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) examination. The series is designed by experienced faculty keeping in mind the CBSE syllabus and the examination pattern.

How to Prepare CBSE Class IX Mock Online Exam
1. Decide on the type of exam: Decide whether it is an open-book exam, a closed-book exam, or a combination of both. Also decide the duration and mode of the exam (e.g. online or paper-based).
2. Prepare the syllabus: Before you start preparing for the exam, make sure you are familiar with the syllabus. Create a list of topics and questions to be covered in the exam.
3. Get sample tests: Make sure that you use sample tests that are similar to the pattern of the CBSE Class IX mock exam. Use these tests as practice exams to get familiar with the format and pattern of the exam.
4. Schedule the exam: Make a date for the exam and keep at least a week in-between for practice.
5. Design Model papers: The model papers are designed to familiarize students with the kind of questions they are likely to face. Design model papers based on the syllabus and practice them.

CBSE Class IX Online Exam Pattern
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised its exam pattern for class IX from the academic year 2020-21. The board has divided the paper into two parts – Formative Assessment (FA) and Summative Assessment (SA). The SA portion will contain two papers – Paper I (SA I) and Paper II (SA II).
1.Formative Assessment (FA): The Formative Assessment (FA) portion of the exam will have four assessments. They are as follows:
• Class Tests: The Class Tests will be conducted at least once every month. Each class test will have 10 marks allocated for it.
• Quizzes: Quizzes will be conducted at least once every fortnight. Each quiz will have 5 marks allocated to it.
• Notebook Submission: Notebook submission will be done twice in an academic year. Each notebook submission will have 5 marks allocated to it.
• Subject Enrichment Activities: Subject Enrichment Activities will be conducted once every term. Each Subject Enrichment Activity will have 5 marks allocated to it.
2.Summative Assessment (SA): The Summative Assessment will be conducted at the end of each term. It will consist of two papers – Paper I (SA I) and Paper II (SA II). The distribution of marks in each paper is as follows:
• Paper I (SA I): The paper will have 80 marks allocated to it. It will consist of five sections: Languages (30 marks), Mathematics (20 marks), Science (10 marks), Social Science (10 marks), and Information Technology (10 marks)
• Paper II (SA II): The paper will have 20 marks allocated to it. It will consist of one section – Environmental and Value Education (20 marks).
The total marks allocated to the CBSE Class IX Exam is 100 marks. It should also be noted that students should keep the two papers separate and submit both the papers in the final exam. The board has also specified that the due dates for submission of the two papers should not overlap.
CBSE Class IX Selection Process
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) sets up an admission process for Class IX which includes the following steps:
1. Entrance Examination: All students wishing to take admission in a CBSE School must first appear for the entrance examination which is conducted by the school at which they wish to take admission.
2. Counselling Fees Payment: Students pay a counselling fee to the school in order to be considered for admission.
3. Interview/Written Test: Selected students must then appear for an interview/written test which will be conducted by the school.
4. Admission Fee Payment: Admission will be granted to those students who perform well in the interview/written test and pay the admission fee to the school.
5. Class Allocation: This is the final step in the admission process in which students will be assigned to a particular class in the school.
CBSE Class IX Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible to study in CBSE Class IX, students must have completed their Class VIII from any school that is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school must have given students marks in all subjects of Class VIII for them to be eligible for promoted to Class IX.
