CBSE Aptitude Online Test Series is a comprehensive set of tests developed by the Central Board of Secondary Education, India’s premier school education board. CBSE Aptitude Online Exam Pattern

The CBSE Aptitude online exam pattern comprises two phases:

Phase 1: Online aptitude test The online aptitude test has multiple-choice questions and comprises Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge. The duration for each subject is 20-30 mins.

Phase 2: English Essay Writing The prospective examiners are required to compose an essay of 500 words in English within 20 minutes. This part of the exam tests the vocabulary and writing skills of the candidate. The scores of Phase 1 & Phase 2 are assessed separately and the overall score is calculated as the average of the two. Final selection is based on this score.

CBSE Aptitude Selection Process

1. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts an aptitude test for the selection of candidates for various posts.

2. The test is conducted both online and offline, depending on the post and institution.

3. The test section includes topics like language comprehension, logical reasoning, numeric ability, data interpretation, critical thinking, problem solving, and general awareness.

CBSE Aptitude Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to appear for the CBSE aptitude tests, the candidate must either be a student of class 12 or have passed class 12 with the following minimum grades in all the five subjects:

• English: 60% • Mathematics/Computer Science: 55%

• Physics/Chemistry/Biology: 50%

• History/Geography/Economics: 50%

• Any other (non-language) subject: 55%

Additionally, the candidate must have passed the mandatory English paper (Part A/Part B) of class 12, as well as the practical/project evaluation that is a part of the respective subject paper in class 12.
