The JNU M.Sc. (BT) online examination pattern consists of two parts:

CBEE – M.Sc. (BT) – JNU Selection Process
The selection process for the M.Sc. (BT) programme at JNU is based on the Common Entrance Examination for Biotechnology (CBEE). Candidates are required to fill an online application form available on the JNU website. The selection is based on the marks obtained in the CBEE and the interview conducted by JNU.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the M.Sc. (BT) program at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is as follows: –
Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/Technology/Computer Science/Bioengineering/Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Agriculture/Medicine/Pharmacy/Veterinary Sciences/Dental Sciences/Ayurveda/Nursing/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Botany/Zoology/Environmental Sciences/Chemistry from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
– Candidates appearing for their final year exams can also apply.
– Candidates must have valid scores in JNU-CAT/JNU-CBEE.
– Candidates must have valid scores in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) or the Joint Entrance Examination for Biotechnology (JEE-B).
– Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/Technology/Computer Science/Bioengineering/Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Agriculture/Medicine/Pharmacy/Veterinary Sciences/Dental Sciences/Ayurveda/Nursing/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Botany/Zoology/Environmental Sciences/Chemistry from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade may also be considered for admission on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination.
