The selection process for the Bihar STET Paper-1 (English) consists of 3 stages:

The eligibility criteria for Bihar STET Paper – 1 (English) are as follows:
1. The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in English or its equivalent from a recognized university or institute.
2. The candidate must have successfully completed a two-year teacher education program recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
3. The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate in their bachelor’s degree.
4. The candidate must have a valid Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) certificate.
5. The candidate must have cleared the Bihar State Teachers Eligibility Test (BSTET) conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).
