AP EAMCET – Agricultural and Medical Online Test Series

AP EAMCET (Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) is a computer-based test conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). • The entrance exam is of 3 hours duration and consists of 160 multiple choice questions.

• Out of the 160 questions, 80 questions are from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology (as chosen by the candidate).

• The remaining 80 questions are from Agricultural/Medical Sciences.

• Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.

• There is no negative marking scheme.

• The question paper will be in English and Telugu language.

AP EAMCET – Agricultural and Medical Selection Process

The Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is a competitive entrance examination conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) for admission into various undergraduate professional courses offered in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This exam is conducted for admission into various government and private colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

AP EAMCET – Agricultural and Medical Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for AP EAMCET – Agriculture and Medical streams:

1. Candidates must have passed/appeared for Intermediate (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board or equivalent in India.

2. Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate in their qualifying examination.

3. For SC/ST students, the minimum pass percentage required is 40%.

4. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

5. The minimum age limit for appearing in AP EAMCET-AM (Agriculture and Medical) stream is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

6. The maximum age limit for AP EAMCET-AM (Agriculture and Medical) stream is 22 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

7. Candidates belonging to the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are eligible to appear for AP EAMCET-AM (Agriculture and Medical) stream.
